Last Season Information by Euroleague:
Khimki proved its worth all season long behind 7 DAYS EuroCup MVP Alexey Shved, even though a promising season finished without any trophies. Khimki was perfect at home in the regular season in which it went 6-2 to finish atop Group B. Jacob Pullen was MVP for Round 3 of the regular season after tallying 25 points and 5 assists in a 72-102 rout of ALBA Berlin. Shved had his best game of a fantastic Top 16 with 32 points and 8 assists in an 85-84 Round 4 victory over ratiopharm Ulm, which helped Khimki arrive to a showdown in the Top 16 finale against FC Bayern Munich with a chance to win Group F. Despite another big game from Shved, Khimki lost its only home game of the season to place second in the group. That led to a tough quarterfinals challenge against Valencia Basket. After losing a close road game late in Game 1, Khimki went back home and routed Valencia 98-74 behind Shved’s double-double to even the best-of-three series. However Valencia was too strong in Game 3 and wrapped up the series with a home win. Khimki’s overall record was 11-6 in a strong EuroCup campaign.
